Biography
A
fourth-generation Pentecostal, Robert Lee Mc- Farland was six weeks old
at the UPC merger conference in the church his Grandfather Guinn
pastored in St. Louis.
His great love for people and the work of God manifested itself at a
young age and has continued as he and his wife have evangelized and
pastored, beginning shortly after their marriage. They have pastured
five assemblies, two of which were pioneer works (Linden, New Jersey; Cambridge City, Indiana). They were blessed with three children during this time: Christopher, Matthew, and Amanda. A burden for Israel
surfaced in the late 1990s. It is probable that the true seeds of this
burden were planted when young Bob was a missionary kid with his
parents, Robert and Marjorie McFarland, in Jerusalem
in 1959-1961. Robert and Beth McFarland received their AIM appointment
in 1996, career missionary appointment in 1998, and have been on site
since February 2001.
