Biography
Rick and Von de Leigh Robinson received their appointment as UPCI missionaries to Turkey in October 2001. In applying for their appointment to Turkey,
he stated, “I feel that God is waiting for us, the church, to
evangelize the rest of the world, so the Scriptures can be fulfilled. Turkey
was one of the first areas to receive a missionary. It’s a country in
which politics, economics, and religious views are changing. We want to be a witness and light there.” The experience gained while serving as an associate in missions in Russia and Latvia, and together as AIMers in Scotland will help Rick Robinson and his wife, the daughter of the late Hulon Myre, a former member of the Foreign Missions Board and regional director for Europe and the Middle East, establish a church in Turkey.
